Random Fall Pictures

These are just some various pictures from the last week or two that turned out to be cute fall shots. We carved our first family pumpkin and it wasn't perfect but it was fun! And we took Carson to a pumpkin patch near his daycare in Moss Bluff but he really wasn't into the picture taking. However, we were able to catch a couple of cute poses.

This past weekend we took a much anticipated trip to Fort Worth! We were really missing the Iles family and needed a visit. Watching Carson and Noah play was really amazing... It's like they play together better and better each time we see them. And baby Jude is growing up so fast! Me, Jake, Mom and Landon had the privilege of babysitting the boys while Robin and Clay went to a wedding. It was super crazy but even more fun :] I was able to feed Jude his nighttime bottle and rock him to sleep, which I really enjoyed! It's weird how quick you miss it.

Birthday Party Fun!

A couple of weeks ago, my mom took Carson to our cousin "Dean's" birthday party. I wasn't able to go but a lady that was there took these pictures for me. My mom said she had to bathe him before she brought him home because he was a mess!! He had a great time :] Happy Birthday Dean!

Last night was the annual Fall Fest held by our church. All of the kids dressed up, and Carson was a crazy little Spiderman! (I found a Spiderman t-shirt at Wal*Mart so I was SpiderMOM!) They had games for the kids and for Carson's age group they picked a pumpkin out of a bucket of water, and if it had a sticker on the bottom they were able to pick a prize. Carson chose bubbles and they were a BIG hit!!

Chuck E. Cheese :]

I know it's been a while but here is the latest from Carson! A couple of weeks ago we had a family date night and went to Chuck E. Cheese with Carson :] He had the best time and was so fun to watch. His favorite was the slide of course, but we tried to get him interested in a couple of other things as well. After turning in the tickets we ended up with a Chuck E. Cheese rocket that Carson thought would be best for chewing! Fun night :]

The second part of our day was spent with Grammie, Pops, and Uncle Landon :] We ate good again on some delicious steaks, herb potatoes, and ceasar salad! We ended the evening by watching some beautiful fireworks. It was a wonderful 4th of July spent with our families :]

This year we spent Fourth of July lunch with MeMe, PaPa, Aunt K, Uncle D, and Nena! We ate yummy ribs, sausage, and Carson's favorite... mashed potatoes :] After a little rain, we got to swim, ride the four wheeler, and play some pool.

We have been waiting for the day and it is finally here! Our little Carson is walking :] Over the past couple of weeks he has been taking a couple steps here and there but now it is definite walking!! Everyone said that he would walk when he was good and ready so I guess he decided that today was the day! Jake and I are so proud of our 13 month old. He knew he had done something good because he got very excited each time he walked to someone! Sorry that the video is sideways.. I couldn't figure out how to make it ride side up! You'll get the idea anyway :]

The 5 a.m. arrival in Fort Worth!!

Carson was also pretty excited about Jude's arrival because that meant some vacation time with cousin Noah!! Jake and Clay took them outside to swim one afternoon and as you can tell they had lots of fun :]

We are pleased to announce that the newest member of our family, Clayton "Jude" Iles, is here :] He made his appearance on June 18 at 11:14 p.m., and weighed 8 lbs. and measured 19 inches long! We are so excited to have another nephew/cousin and it is no surprise that he is absolutely beautiful!! As soon as we heard the news we loaded up and headed to Fort Worth to see the little miracle. We are looking forward to seeing him again very soon :]

One evening we headed to Eureka Springs to see The Passion Play. It was definitely amazing. It was nice to get a visual of what our Lord went through for us. It was truly a blessing and I am so thankful that I can call Him my Savior!

Our second day on vacation we decided to visit Silver Dollar City. It had rained earlier in the day and was supposed to be overcast for the rest of the day, but it ended up raining again :[ Luckily, we had bought a 2 day pass so we were able to go back when the weather was a little more sunny!

Playground

On the grounds of our resort there was also a huge playground. There was a basketball court, monkey bars, swings, and a tennis court. Me, mom, Carson, Jake, Landon and Christian went down one evening and enjoyed the extremely nice weather.
