Our little walker!!!

We have been waiting for the day and it is finally here! Our little Carson is walking :] Over the past couple of weeks he has been taking a couple steps here and there but now it is definite walking!! Everyone said that he would walk when he was good and ready so I guess he decided that today was the day! Jake and I are so proud of our 13 month old. He knew he had done something good because he got very excited each time he walked to someone! Sorry that the video is sideways.. I couldn't figure out how to make it ride side up! You'll get the idea anyway :]

The 5 a.m. arrival in Fort Worth!!

Carson was also pretty excited about Jude's arrival because that meant some vacation time with cousin Noah!! Jake and Clay took them outside to swim one afternoon and as you can tell they had lots of fun :]

We are pleased to announce that the newest member of our family, Clayton "Jude" Iles, is here :] He made his appearance on June 18 at 11:14 p.m., and weighed 8 lbs. and measured 19 inches long! We are so excited to have another nephew/cousin and it is no surprise that he is absolutely beautiful!! As soon as we heard the news we loaded up and headed to Fort Worth to see the little miracle. We are looking forward to seeing him again very soon :]

One evening we headed to Eureka Springs to see The Passion Play. It was definitely amazing. It was nice to get a visual of what our Lord went through for us. It was truly a blessing and I am so thankful that I can call Him my Savior!

Our second day on vacation we decided to visit Silver Dollar City. It had rained earlier in the day and was supposed to be overcast for the rest of the day, but it ended up raining again :[ Luckily, we had bought a 2 day pass so we were able to go back when the weather was a little more sunny!

Playground

On the grounds of our resort there was also a huge playground. There was a basketball court, monkey bars, swings, and a tennis court. Me, mom, Carson, Jake, Landon and Christian went down one evening and enjoyed the extremely nice weather.

We stayed in a cabin on Table Rock Lake in Kimberling City, Missouri. It was right by a big pool and lake where you could fish right off the bank. Our cabin was about 15 minutes from the many attractions of Branson!

Vacation to Branson

We recently took a family vacation to Branson, Missouri! The week before we left, Landon stayed in Fort Worth with Clay, Robin and Noah for a week. Along the way to Branson, we met up with them for breakfast to retrieve Landon for our trip. We were glad to be able to see them before leaving, and hated that they couldn't come with us but they were busy getting ready for Baby Jude's arrival :]
